ZIFR

DJ • Music Producer

ZIFR builds danceoors out of philosophy. Before he ever touched a mixer, ZIFR was a collector. Cassettes rst, then CDs, DVDs, and now USBs. A lifelong obsession with sound that quietly shaped everything that followed. When he stepped behind the decks in 2021, he didn't arrive as a beginner. He arrived with two decades of listening. His name comes from "Sifr", the Arabic word for zero, the origin of all things. It's the right word for someone who believes extraordinary creativity emerges from nothing. Based in Pune, he blends techno, house, and electronica into sets that move between worlds without losing their thread, from Full Moon parties in Koh Phangan to festival stages at VH1 Supersonic, from beach clubs in Goa to rooms in Nairobi, Johannesburg, and Bangkok. As founder of ZYNC Records, he's built a label that mirrors his worldview: artists from India, Africa, Latin America, and Europe, all telling dierent stories under one roof. With 18+ years in design and branding, the worlds he builds visually are as considered as the ones he builds sonically. ZIFR doesn't chase genres. He passes through them.
